Charging light poles are street lamps with two integrated charging stations for electric cars. <\/p><p>This allows electric cars to be charged without the need for additional charging stations on the street. And by combining the two, CO2 emissions per location are reduced by over 58%. Normally, each charging station requires a dedicated location, which requires additional excavation and costs. By combining streetlights and charging stations, the municipality can better accommodate this growing demand while simultaneously maintaining a more attractive streetscape.  <\/p><p>Together with partners Park&amp;Charge (Charge Point Operator) and CityCharge (hardware supplier), we are investigating how charging light poles can be implemented on a larger scale. Depending on the results, we will consider installing more of these poles in the municipality.
