The municipality of Oosterhout has been striving for more sustainability in its public space and on adjacent business parks for some time now. In the new-build districts of Het Kompas and Vrachelsplein, an EV street and an EV square have been created, with a total of 10 CityCharge EV light poles with 20 charging points installed.
The charging light poles are centrally powered from a single grid connection, which is interconnected. Load-balancing is standard in this rollout, so that connected cars get all available capacity and can leave quickly charged.
